Description
This department is responsible for the issuance of all Zoning permits and Code Enforcement Issues for the Town of Alexandria.
We will be happy to discuss your future projects and concerns. Below you will find the basic requirements for the review and issuance of zoning permits. Zoning Permits are required for any new construction, to include: Any addition to the house (e.g. deck, porch, garage, fences, pool, etc. Any storage shed (no matter the size) Any demolition of buildings, fireplace, pellet stove, wood stove, etc. and any signs (signage). Permits must be obtained from the Zoning Office,fees are based on the square footage of project and; therefore, vary. Please submit a plot plan square footage of the project. |
